    梅艷芳 - 夕陽之歌
In 1989 Anita, Chow Yun-Fat and Tony Leung stars in the last installment of A Better Tomorrow - A Better Tomorrow III - Love and Death in Saigon aka The Song of Sunset.
The theme song "Song of Sunset", was sang by Anita Mui, was a huge hit at that time.
Made Anita "Most Popular Female Singer of the Year".
Năm đó... Hacken Lee's "Never change in this life time" - "Nhất Sanh Bất Biến" another faovorite song of mine, cũng nằm trong top ten.
Năm đó... "Happy are those in love" "Nan Đắc Hữu Tình Nhân" giúp Shirley Kwan đoạt Best New-Comer Award.
Năm đó, William So, Dave Wong, and, supprisingly, Patrick Tam and Bowie Lam (glad those 2 didn't win :D) were also new-comers
Năm đó cách nay gần 20 năm
That year, your truly được 6 tủi...8 tháng mấy ngày =))
    How time fly huh?
To my supprise, after almost 2 decade and after almost a decade since I first listened, these songs still manage to amaze me, with a very different feeling, of course.
I've watched and listened Ah Mui's Song of Sunset so many times, different places, stages, ocations, and the feeling keep changing everytimes. Still, the clip up there, which I have an honor of having of copy of its DVD - ordered from HK, the 2nd last song on stage of Ah Mui on her very last concert, is my favourite version. There's a strange, unexplainable feeling, the solitude in her voice that made me felt sad, hurt, weary every times I listened.
Meanwhile, the sorrow yet sureness, the sweetness, optimistic in love of "Never Change in This Lifetume" and "Happy Are Those In Love" never fail to make me smile...
How to say? I've always had a thing for... old things... antique stuffs, that explained why my cousins always laugh at me. Ha, like I care!!!
Back to present, here's a clip of Ah C and Andy Hui Duet in EAST ASIA CAPITAL ARTISTS CONCERT. One word: HOT, ABSOFREAKIN'LY HOT. Ah Mui must be proud, two of her disciples performed her song... soooo Leslie and Anita

    Thanks to etv02
Fantastic performances of the artists, kudos for Mi - Andy (why why why did they break up???), Ah Fa - Terence (oooooooh sweet and cute at the same time), and last but not least the sexiest performance ever since Gor Gor and Ah Mui - Ah C - Andy. Sooo gonna get this DVD!!!
